I don't know how some of you put up with me always on my phone when we are together. I justified it somehow but i knew in my head 75% of the time i am on the phone that means im bored. I have ADD we all know this but eek i know. But now, when others are doing it to me its like i feel like i know the "secret code" for bored but i get very offended. But its not a surprise that i am mr. sensitive. All i know is i've edited my phone habits when surrounded by those around me. And i plan on continuing that Movement.

I went to see this today with a dear friend, and all i got to say is this is a must see. I remember when my mom and i watched this at a very young age. The story of people, kids with dreams who do what can, feel what they feel, to be in that place they love so dear. For some reasons, BIG REASONS, these emotions are very relatable today, and actually have been for quite sometime, just were a little lost in the game called life.
This doc mirrors the background, the show, and the reality of people fighting with fate to be in THE CHORUS LINE. The struggle with technique, the struggle with the dream and passion, the lack of money, the idea/ REALITY that there is no fall back for what they love to do. Its all the dream or its nothing.
After all, isn't that what we are here to do?

There has been considerable confusion and debate over the line "Are we human or are we dancer?" in the song's chorus. Debate raged across the internet over whether the lyrics said "denser" or "dancer", a misunderstanding which invoked conflicting interpretations of the song's meaning. Entertainment Weekly's Pop Watch section called this line the "silliest lyrics of the week". They were puzzled by the interpretation, stating "most dancers are generally human". Ganz with Rolling Stone called the line "classic Killers' nonsense."
On the band's official website, the biography section states that Flowers is singing "Are we human, or are we dancer?" and also says that the lyrics were inspired by a disparaging comment made by Hunter S. Thompson. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Flowers said that he was irritated over the confusion: "It's supposed to be a dance song, [the beat] goes with the chorus...If you can't put that together, you're an idiot. I just don't get why there's a confusion about it."

He also went on to say on air that he feels he is at the level of his career where he doesn't need to explain his lyrics to anymore. DOUCHEBAG

DUFF will become the new BONNIE

Hilary Duff and Kevin Zegers will star in indie feature "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde," produced by Cypress Moon Studios.
Tonya S. Holly will direct the film from her own script, which is a new adaptation of the story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow rather than a remake of the 1967 classic film starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty. Holly began working on the project after reading old newspaper articles about the gangster pair in an abandoned house on her family's property.

Holly wrote, produced and directed the feature "When I Find the Ocean."

"The Story of Bonnie and Clyde" is set to lense in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Natalie Canerday and Rance Howard will also star.

Duff was most recently seen in "War, Inc." Zegers most recently starred in "Fifty Dead Men Walking."

I'm a little late but Here is the deal. The concept of “Heroes” is that the biggest legends in music, including Sir Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Brian Wilson and The Clash, select one of the classic tracks from their own songwriting canon, and nominate an artist from the next generation to create a modern reworking of that classic song.
The proceeds from the album will go to the children of the world who are effected by the wars.

Scott Weiland, former front man for Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, is launching a clothing line.

Weiland has partnered with Christopher Wicks, designer and owner of Rock & Roll Religion, for a line of contemporary men's clothing that will be known as Weiland for English Laundry.

Wicks designs and owns other music related clothing lines such as Fender: The Clothing Collection and the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

"From early on, I was inspired by rock icons like David Bowie and Keith Richards who helped in molding my personal sense of style," said Weiland, in a statement.

The collection will consist of vests, t-shirts, pants, hats, ties and scarves based on vintage fabrics from the late 60's and 70s and will retail for between $40 and $120. The line will be unveiled at Magic Las Vegas on Feb. 17

Janet reportedly attending final episode of Celebrity Big Brother

Janet, Tito and LaToya will be attending Friday night's final episode of UK television show Celebrity Big Brother, according to a report in The Sun.

LaToya was a contestant on the reality show until she was eliminated on Wednesday evening. The Sun reports that she will return to the house with Janet and Tito to congratulate the winner of the show.

There has been no official announcement about whether they will indeed be attending Friday's show, which airs live.

I swear i remember all this stuff about her own reality show here in the states. I remember cause i was fighting to be on it...Needless to say that didn't happen...nor did the show.

One thing that i have is a small obsession with Graffiti. If you look through any of my pics you'll find something or another that i've seen. The more times progress the more it seems statements, whether being political or just artistic freedom, shows us that graffiti has enhanced drastically. And id say for the good. It's a huge difference from the spray can'd ' lil sleepy's that use to occupy the walls. That's for sure.

In Berlin hey seem to be a bit more loud with their voice. Especially when they are subvertising these ads by Mr. Tailon, Baveux Prod., Kone & Epoxy.

z Luhrmann (Australia) has officially acquired rights to "The Great Gatsby," says The Hollywood Reporter. Luhrmann sees the pre-Depression story as a wake-up call as the economy comes crashing down and another gilded age, as he sees it, comes to an end.

"If you wanted to show a mirror to people that says, 'You've been drunk on money,' they're not going to want to see it. But if you reflected that mirror on another time they'd be willing to."

He added, "People will need an explanation of where we are and where we've been, and 'The Great Gatsby' can provide that explanation."

He said that he wants to move quickly on the "Gatsby" project. "I'm going to move faster than I have before. I'd be surprised if it's another seven years," he said, referring to the period between Moulin Rouge! and Australia. The project also might not be with Fox.

It's DVD time! And Madonna certainly made it up for her Argentine fans whose vision was blocked by the cameras, because she gave one of her best shows of the tour! She was in a great mood all evening and she even said "it's been 13 years since I was here, never again" and that she's not gonna wait that long for the next time, right before the Evita medley. That's right, Don't Cry For Me Argentina was sung for the DVD! The end of the performance once again featured the "Argentina!" chant by the crowd. This was extended after Ray Of Light where the awesome crowd started chanting "Madonna!" and the Queen, in one of her most moving moments, said: "Thank you for saying that, I love to hear that name because that is the name of my mother. If only she could see me now!" and she chanted "Argentina! I love you!" and even claimed that it was her most favourite show ever! The request song was her signature hit Like A Virgin, obvious choice for the DVD. Monday's show will be recorded as well and the DVD will mostly likely be a mix of both shows. It's looking good for a fantastic DVD so far!

Restaurant manager to leave El Coyote over Prop. 8 controversy

Frontiers magazine learned Saturday Marjorie Christoffersen is stepping down as a manager at the Los Angeles restaurant El Coyote. Bill Schoeppner, a fellow manager at El Coyote who has been with the restaurant for 26 years, told Frontiers Christoffersen was also resigning as a member of El Coyote's board of directors.

"She no longer works here," Schoeppner said on Saturday. "She just told me tonight."

Christoffersen created a firestorm of controversy for the 77-year-old L.A. institution after local blogs broke the news she had donated $100 to the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign. Long a popular destination for the LGBT community for its cheap Mexican food and generous Margaritas, El Coyote found itself the target of boycotts and demonstrations after Christoffersen's donation went public. In a press conference hosted by the restaurant days after the news of the donation broke, Christoffersen tried to explain her donation did not have to do with animus for gay and lesbian people, but was instead tied to her Mormon faith. Christoffersen did not apologize for the donation and did not indicate she would support any No on 8 organization. Boycott organizers and demonstrators were not impressed, and have argued online and in the local news media that Christoffersen's support for the ban of same-sex marriage was reason to shun El Coyote.

Schoeppner said Christoffersen tended her resignation to her mother, Grace Salisbury, who is described on the El Coyote Web site as the "matriarch" of the restaurant. Salisbury's sister-in-law founded El Coyote in 1931.

"Everybody is kind of used to her walking around the restaurant with a water pitcher going from table to table to table," Schoeppner said of Christofferson. "I guess that part is no longer going to exist."

They eventually meet, where they extend their e-mail exchanges into more personal and intimate conversations. They talk about their respective countries, their jobs, their families, their lives. Mostly, they talk about Mark. What began as a tragedy that linked two strangers from different ends of the world becomes a deeply realized friendship that may change their lives forever.

I don't know if it's because it hits close to home, or because...i don't know. But i HOPE this movie is great. I have seen a lot of bad Gay Cinema....but this one seems on a different level.

NO DELETED SCENES FOR YOU ON DARK KNIGHT THIS TUESDAY

Christopher Nolan doesn't want to share deleted scenes with any of us on the DVD release of Batman: The Dark Knight. Why?

Nolan says that reverence informed the making of The Dark Knight DVD and Blu-ray, out Tuesday. Then on Jan. 23, fans get another chance to see the film on the big screen as it's re-released the day after Academy Award nominations arrive.

Many consider Heath Ledger, who died of a prescription overdose on Jan. 22, a shoo-in for a supporting-actor nomination. But fans won't find much more of Ledger's Joker in DVD extras. There are features on the staging of the film's elaborate stunts, alternate angles and a segment on the technology behind Batman's gadgets, but not a single deleted scene or outtake from Ledger's performance.

Nolan says he wasn't keeping deleted scenes from fans. "For my past three films, I really haven't had scenes that didn't make it in the movie," he says. "If it's in the final script, I tend put it on screen."

Any outtakes, however, were intentionally left off the DVD. "I don't like outtakes or gag reels," Nolan says. "I don't think it's respectful to the actors, who signed on to have their performance on screen, not the takes that didn't work out. It discourages actors from going all-out if they think every mistake is going on the disc."

Nor does he have ambition to rush out a third installment.

"I don't know why they're (third installment) hard to do," Nolan says. "Maybe there's so much expectation to them. But I wouldn't want to do one if it weren't going to be as good as the first or second. That's not respectful to the fans."

Why i Think the Twilight Sequel may not suck as bad as the First

Summit Entertainment has wasted no time moving ahead with the next installment in Stephenie Meyer's bestselling "Twilight" series, "New Moon." But in an unusual move after the successful launch of a franchise that has already generated $138.6 million, the upstart distrib is not bringing directorCatherine Hardwicke back to direct the picture. Summit and Hardwicke cite Summit's wish to rush the movie into production as one reason for their split. Summit wants to release the picture, which will demand substantial CGI work, by the end of 2009 or the start of 2010. A former production designer, Hardwicke wanted more prep time.

"Twilight" scripter Melissa Rosenberg handed in a draft of "New Moon" the weekend that "Twilight" opened. Hardwicke wanted more time to work on it; Summit announced it was going ahead with "New Moon" on November 22, with no director attached. Negotiations lasted two weeks before Hardwicke formally passed on the film Saturday.

"I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct 'New Moon,'" said Hardwicke. "Directing 'Twilight' has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel -- it is a great story."

"Catherine did an incredible job in helping us to launch the 'Twilight' franchise, and we thank her for all of her efforts and we very much hope to work with her on future Summit projects," said Summit production prexy Erik Feig. "We as a studio have a mandate to bring the next installment in the franchise to the big screen in a timely fashion so that fans can get more of Edward, Bella and all of the characters that Stephenie Meyer has created. We are able to pursue an aggressive time frame as we have the luxury of only adapting the novels into screenplays as opposed to having to create a storyline from scratch."

I think this is a great thing. I blame everything that was wrong with that movie on Catherine. I didnt know this was a comedy. Oh, wait...it wasnt? hmm Blame Catherine.

Los Angeles (E! Online) – Why does a certain character on Grey's Anatomy suddenly have so little to do?

It's a question many readers have been emailing about, and now, inside sources are spilling what's going on behind the scenes.

Before you read any further, however, be forewarned: Naming names is impossible--the truth is a little ugly--so read on only if you want to join the guessing game...

A source close to the show tells me, "The reason [the actor] has not been on is because [he or she] has been a pain in the ass lately, trying to change scenes and dialogue, being hard to work with and putting up an attitude. The higher-ups were getting tired of it, so they tweaked [him or her] out of some episodes. That's why you haven't really seen [him or her] lately."

A second source seconds that emotion: "[He or she] is not really getting along too well with producers right now."

Eek! Like I said, it's not a pretty tale, is it? Not all characters can have equal screen time all year round, so I was thinking perhaps they were holding this character back for something later in the season...but it sounds like he or she might be gettin' spanked.

Baz has put his name in the hat to direct the film version of the bit Broadway play 'Wicked.'
IMDB.com is reporting that direct Baz Luhrmann has been sized to direct the feature film adaption of the Broadway hit WICKED. Winnie Holzman, who wrote the book for the musical is said to write the screenplay as well. Variety recently reported that the film was in its early development stages, and clearly the next step has been reached. No schedule for filming or production has been officially announced.

What do you get when you when you put Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Fergie, Kate Hudson, Daniel Day Lewis, and Sophia Loren? The Musical NINE. It is in fact a musical version of Frederico Fellini's 8½. Nine is a musical following a film director named Guido Contini, who is in his middle age. He is trying to complete his next film. His main problem is that he has too many women in his life. Luisa, his wife, Carla his sexy mistress, and Claudia, his muse and protege.

It's been around for about 25 years but is now in production for a feature film. Above is a still shot from set. I have not seen the muscial but was gifted with the film moons ago from my friend who is a large fan of Fellini. Now i know the musical and original film are different, but i a am still anxious to see if this cast can succeed such a task.

Cameron Scott is someone who in less then 6 months turned a baby step passion into a reality. He is currently attending F.I.D.M, and unlike most of his fellow designers that occupy the desks there at school, Cameron took his ideas and ran out of the classes with it. With only a few student assignments under his belt, he moved a dozen of his sketches into actual pieces, took those pieces and orchestrated a few photo shoots, and now has representation and will be showing in Detroit and Los Angeles in 2009.

Working 7 days a week 10-12 hour days for about a month, he and his designing partner Caitlin constructed a beautifully-wearable collection.

With this collection he is taking his experienced life and networks he has created in Detroit, NY and L.A and moving forward with his line to get everyone who's anyone dressed in his pieces. When talking about going to these boutiques and presenting himself personally instead of having representation doing it for him he said, "I think the industry and most industries have gotten away from that personal connection and that quality of production. I want to be there saying this is me, this is where I'm coming from, this is why I did it and let me sit with you and go over these garments and show you how well they are produced and my expectation for my brand. After we conquer that aspect, then obviously I think everyone dreams of seeing their own fixtures in Saks, Neimans, Bergdorfs, Barneys, etc. But I don't like to put the cart before the horse. "

When you look at these designs, you see innovative. At first i thought, where is the EPIC gown? Instantly i was shut down and brought to reality when he said, "No the epic dress is the green cocktail dress. It's 20 ft of organza layered with a reverse shawl collar and the manipulation of the fullness at the west going to a smaller hemline is epic. I don't do cheesy student epic, I do chic epic." And that is exactly what it is!

If you have passion and drive you can move mountains, Cameron Scott has done just that.
I am honored to have been updated with his evolution of progress and look forward to the much success to come. 2009 will be a big year for him.

With a successful (STUPID) Reality show on MTV and soon in the UK (STUPID), Paris has informed everyone that she has complete her second album! Cue the cheers; hold the laughter. No seriously, stop laughing.
"I wrote all the songs," she said. "It's very dance, like Kylie Minogue."

Paris? Are you serious? Did you just compare you sad attempt to Kylie?
What am i saying? A sad moment in my life was listening to her train wreck of an album the first time. Yeah, i'll admit to it.... damn why did i just admit to that?
Anyway, this is all good news, but there is one small detail that she lacks.... A RECORD LABEL.
"I'm figuring it out right now," she said. "I'm not sure which label I'm doing it with."
Sigh, and i was so excited.

The evolution of a comeback! Third times a charm!! indeed

So if you have seen her past two attempts at performing since her VMA's wreak... you too were probably a little scared as-well. From her first performance at the Bambi Awards where she was awkward and the performance was bit reminiscent of the VMA's. There was a lot of walking and a lot of searching for validation from the audience.

Her second performance was pretty much a clone of the first but she seemed to be a bit more loose through the routine. Yet, still a lot of walking and a little bit more fun.

At last, Cut the costume, switch up the routine a bit and Britney is ready to start performing as she once did. The energy was there, and she indeed enjoyed herself. She danced a little more then prior attempts but she was in it! Simon even gave her a standing ovation!

Hopefully these little dry-runs are just that before she blows the whole thing out of the water on the GMA's December 2.

I felt it was worth mentioning that Franz Ferdinand had a contest for their first single ' Ulysses' off their next album. They gave their fans the song, and some beats to work with. From there the fans had creative control of the song. That's some fan interaction right there! kudos!

Hello. I hope your day is well.

I just want to write a kind letter for a job well done. I currently visited the Vanity Fair Exhibit, and not only was it earth shattering it was also very much enjoyable.

But if i could, i would like to give one small suggestion.

I am going to go with good faith and believe that it was a unnoticed mistake to hang on your walls, this photo.

Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful photo, yes. But it is also a bit embarrassing for all parties involved. Now Annie Leibovitz does no wrong with her work, but i think one of your art wranglers grabbed the wrong one by mistake and carelessly hung it.

I do forgive your mistake and attached the photo that i am sure was intended to occupy the space. Don't be embarrassed, it's complete understandable.
